mountain or Alpine huts, where South Tyrolean speck, Kaiserschmarrn (rippled pancakes), strudel and many other delicacies are waiting for you!

Easy hiking trips
Bagni di Pervalle/Bad Bergfall (1,320 metres): walking time approx. 2 hours
Mitterolang - Vopichl - Peststöckl - Gassl – on marked path number 32 to Bagni di Pervalle/Bad Bergfall.
Return journey to Valdaora/Olang possible via Geiselsberg.
Plata/Platten – earth pyramids: difference in altitude 200 metres: walking time 1 hour.
Starting point is Oberwielenbach – Plata/Platten. Before you come to the hamlet of Plata/Platten, there is a large parking lot at your right hand side. On the left hand side of the parking lot there is a marked path through the forest to the impressive earth pyramids (1,150 metres). After checking out the earth pyramids, you can return on the same path to Oberwielenbach.
Half day hiking trips
Valdaora/Olang - Lanzwiesen Alm: walking time approx. 4 hours
Starting at Mitterolang, ascend the ‘Deutschweg‘ passing the Vobichlhof until you reach the Lanzwiesen Alm. The descent is recommended via path number 6, along the edge of the forest and via the panoramic route back to your starting point.
Prato Piazza/Plätzwiese – Dürrenstein: walking time approx. 4 ½ hours
Walk from Braies/Prags to the Plätzwiese (meadow) and then use path number 40 to reach the summit. Use the same route for your return journey.
All day hiking trips
Passo di Furcia/Furkelsattel - Piz da Peres - Hochalpensee – Forcella Lapaduresscharte – Passo Furcia/Furkelsattel: walking time approx. 8 hours
Starting point is the Passo di Furcia/Furkelsattel (can be reached by car). - Turn off the road when you come to path number 3 and walk up to the Dreifingerscharte (between Piz da Peres and Dreifingerspitze) - Descend to the Hochalpensee - Ascend in a northerly direction to the Lapaduresscharte (2,252 metres) – then take path number 12 to the Jagerhutte and then back to the Passo Furcia/Furkelsattel.
Valdaora/Olang - Flatschkofel: walking time approx. 6 hours
Follow path number 6 from Valdaora/Olang towards the Lanzwiesenalm (1,823 metres) - Ascend to the Flatschkofel (2,416 metres). Descend via the Lapadures Joch on path number 32 to Bad Bergfall and back to Valdaora/Olang.
