Brunico/Bruneck
The centre of the Puster Valley
Brunico/Bruneck is the main town of the
Plan de Corones/Kronplatz holiday region and the actual centre of the
Puster Valley. The town is situated on the river Rienz and was built during the 13th Century at an altitude of 840 metres above sea level. The town has a wonderful flair with its
colourful facades, the lane and a
city wall. Brunico/Bruneck Castle hosts the fifth MMM –
Messner Mountain Museum and presents numerous other
attractions and destinations for visitors and locals alike.
